Prince to Be Honored with Four-Day Event at Paisley Park

Prince’s former residence of Paisley Park in Minnesota will celebrate the late legend with a four-day event next year. Celebration 2017 is scheduled around the one year anniversary of his death, and will run from April 20 to 23 (Prince died April 21, 2016). The event will feature musical performances, panel discussions and guided tours.

Performances will include Prince-affiliated acts like the Revolution, Morris Day & The Time, New Power Generation and Liv Warfield & Shelby J with members of 3rdEyeGirl.

“Bringing together musicians, creative personnel, special guests and friends who worked closest with Prince and knew him best, these four days will feature live music, panel discussions and presentations on Prince’s tremendous talent, influence and importance as a composer, musician, producer, live performer and filmmaker,” Celebration 2017 organizers wrote in a statement.

General Admission passes start at $499 with an additional service charge and allow patrons up to five hours of event programming each day as well as access to concert events, panel discussions, guided tours and more. VIP passes are $999 with an additional service fee and includes five hours of event programming each day. VIP also includes on-site parking, photo and autograph opportunities with special guests, exclusive merchandise and a meal pass.
